
Broadcast of ‘Tai-Ari deshita.’ Postponed to 2026
The official website of the Tai-Ari deshita.: Ojou-sama wa Kakutou Game nante Shinai (Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games) television anime announced on Monday that the broadcast has been postponed to 2026.
Originally slated to air in 2025, the anime has been delayed following scheduling adjustments with the parties involved. The production committee released a statement thanking fans and assuring them that the staff is working hard to deliver a more compelling series. Details on the exact premiere date and broadcasting stations will be shared on the official website and social media accounts once confirmed.
Shouta Ibata (Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou desu) is directing the anime at Diomedéa. Wataru Watari (Isekai Yakkyoku) is handling the series composition and Mayuko Matsumoto (Chio-chan no Tsuugakuro) is designing the characters. Kana Hashiguchi (Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu) is composing the music.
The anime series adapts Eri Ejima’s school comedy manga, which began serializing in Monthly Comic Flapper in January 2020. Kadokawa published the ninth volume on June 23.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in 2021 and released the seventh volume on December 17, with the eighth volume planned for a September 30 release.
