Cowboys vs. Packers scoreCowboys vs. Packers highlightsWhere to watch Cowboys vs. PackersThe Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers rivalry has seen plenty of notable moments. But through more than 60 seasons and 39 meetings before Sunday night’s game, it had yet to see a draw.
History was made in matchup No. 40.
The Cowboys and Packers jousted like prizefighters atop the AT&T Stadium turf. But when the dust settled, the two were inseparable. Dallas and Green Bay drew their matchup, 40 apiece, a curious result to one of the league’s most highly-touted regular-season matchups in recent memory.

— NFL (@NFL) September 29, 2025Both sides had their moments. The Cowboys (1-2-1) were spearheaded by Dak Prescott (31-of-40, 319 yards, four total touchdowns, zero interceptions) and George Pickens (eight catches, 134 yards, two touchdowns). Meanwhile, the Packers (2-1-1) received glistening showcases from Jordan Love (31-of-43, 337 yards, three touchdowns), Romeo Doubs (six catches, 58 yards, three touchdowns) and Josh Jacobs (157 total yards, two touchdowns).
Micah Parsons’ name was scrawled across columns ahead of Sunday’s game. He was fairly quiet through the first four quarters. But in overtime, he overcame the steady diet of double teams that followed him to cut Prescott down behind the line of scrimmage. His sack proved vital; Prescott looked destined to trot into the end zone for a go-ahead touchdown.
The result might be underwhelming to those desperate for the all-or-nothing sensation of a win or loss. But it was reflective of an evenly-matched contest between two franchises with plenty of animus. That has to count for something.
