SOFTSWISS assists operators to save €15m in 2025

SOFTSWISS has announced impressive results from its Anti-Fraud team in 2025, underlining the company’s dedication to helping operators build a safer and more transparent iGaming environment.

From January to August 2025, the SOFTSWISS Anti-Fraud team played a central role in protecting operations and players by handling increasingly complex cases with growing efficiency. During this period, the team successfully:

Prevented over €15 million in fraudulent transactions

Resolved more than 56,000 tasks

Processed 70 player complaints filed with regulators and forums

Although fraudulent behaviour patterns have remained consistent with previous years, new threats are emerging. According to the SumSub Identity Fraud Report 2024–2025, the use of AI-generated deepfakes to bypass identity verification is on the rise. In response, SOFTSWISS is strengthening its internal tools and processes to counter this challenge.

Commenting on the results, Ilya Nesterov, Anti-Fraud Team Lead at SOFTSWISS, said:

This year, our team not only safeguarded €15 million for our clients but also managed tens of thousands of cases with precision and care. Fraud tactics continue to evolve, but so do our protective measures. For operators, this translates into a more secure, transparent environment that builds trust and supports long-term growth.

Anti-fraud protection forms a core part of the SOFTSWISS Managed Services offering, which also includes first-line support, VIP player care, retention and reactivation strategies, and content management. Together, these services streamline communication between operators and players, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver a seamless gaming experience.

With deep expertise in both fraud prevention and responsible gambling, SOFTSWISS prioritises software security and player safety across its ecosystem, making it a trusted partner for operators entering regulated markets.
