Yesterday, it was announced that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate would going up in price with a sharp increase, but for the time being at least, there’s still a way of grabbing some prepaid codes at the old prices.
For those who aren’t aware yet, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate used to cost £14.99 per-month here in the UK and $19.99 in the US, but that’s now changed to £22.99 and $29.99 respectively (there’s a full breakdown elsewhere on Pure Xbox).
But the thing is, many retailers haven’t updated their prices yet, and some are even actively promoting (GameStop, we’re looking at you) that you can still pick up a month of Game Pass Ultimate for $19.99 as things stand. The likes of Amazon, Best Buy and many others are still stocking prepaid codes at their old prices at the moment.
This gives us a good chance to promote ourselves as well! Yes, the Pure Xbox Codes website is still stocking the old prices for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (and PC Game Pass for that matter) at the time of writing, so you can bag yourself a deal and stack some membership time onto your account if you want to beat the price hikes.

The key thing to keep in mind is that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate memberships can only be stacked up to a maximum of 36 months (three years), whereas PC Game Pass is 36 months in most countries and 13 months in a select few.
Alternatively, if you’re hoping to convert from one Xbox Game Pass tier to another, it’s worth checking out all the new conversion rates that were revealed yesterday to see how much time you’ll be getting.
Be sure to let us know if you’ve picked up any Game Pass Ultimate deals in the comments!
