CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee, Oct. 3 — The Baylor [Chattanooga, TN] Red Raiders are visiting the McCallie [Chattanooga, TN] Blue Tornado Friday night in a battle of Tennessee’s top two high school football teams. Baylor defeated McCallie, 38-35.
McCallie entered the game 5-1 having already pulled off one of the season’s big upsets when they beat the Mission Viejo [CA] Diablos, 25-14, on September 19. Mission Viejo was ranked in the SN Top 25 at the time.
The Blue Tornado are currently ranked No. 45 in the SN Composite Rankings, but the undefeated victors from The Baylor School are ranked even higher at No. 35. Baylor enters the game 5-0.
