Amal Clooney Perfects ‘Toasty Makeup’ by Embracing Yet Another Fall Trend
Amal Clooney confirms the absolute triumph of toasted tones.
After making her mark at the Venice Film Festival last month, Amal Clooney once again attracted all eyes last night during the ceremony of the Albies awards, organized annually by the Clooney Foundation for Justice. The renowned lawyer and activist was accompanied (of course) by her husband, George Clooney, for an evening that brought together some of the most recognizable faces in cinema, fashion, and philanthropy, including Meryl Streep, Meg Ryan ,and Charlotte Tilbury.
However, as is often the case, it was Amal who stole the show after appearing in a stunning mocha Versace dress—yes, designed by the newly appointed creative director, Dario Vitale—that captivated with its impressive pleats. The piece, with a flowing cut at the skirt, featured a multitude of gathers that highlighted the waist and an off-the-shoulder neckline that added a touch of discreet sensuality.

The look was completed with large gold waterfall earrings framing her face, an antique gold clutch, and a sparkling bracelet adorning her wrist. Her loose, wavy brown hair cascaded past her shoulders, complementing the movement and lightness of her dress as she walked.

On the other hand, her makeup was in perfect harmony with her outfit, inspired by fall’s warmest and most in-demand trend: toasty makeup. This style, based on bronze and caramel tones, recreates a toasted effect on the skin, giving it the warmth and luminosity it sometimes needs. More specifically, she opted for satiny cheeks, hazelnut nude lips, and a look framed by gradient bronzer in earthy tones.

Aside from this display of glamour on the red carpet, the evening had a significant undertone: the continued provision of free legal assistance to a multitude of victims through their foundation. Therefore, the Clooneys’ presence as hosts of this charity gala was not only a display of elegance, but also of deep commitment.
