Talking Point: How Do You Feel About Ubisoft+ Classics Being Added To Game Pass Ultimate?
Good perk, bad perk, somewhere in the middle?

In order to pack out its newly price-hiked Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier, Microsoft is bundling in a couple of bonus subscriptions for users – one of those being Fortnite Crew in November and the other being Ubisoft+ Classics, which is now live. With the latter’s library now available to explore, what do you make of it so far? Is it a decent perk for Game Pass Ultimate players?
There’s a fairly big library of games to choose from here, no doubt, and it ranges from some very old releases such as 2013’s Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag right up to fairly modern titles like 2024’s Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. There’s value in Ubi+ Classics for sure, but enough to keep paying that much extra per-month for Game Pass Ultimate? That’s a tougher pill to swallow.
Of course, there’s always the prospect of this library growing as the years go by. Ubisoft isn’t quite as militant as EA Play when it comes to putting its catalog into the library fairly soon after launch, but more games will become categorised by Ubisoft as ‘classics’ down the line – and we do expect the collection to build over time. Just… pretty slowly considering Ubisoft+ Premium is also available to buy separately on Xbox with a more modern suite of titles.
Anyway, we want to know what you think of Ubisoft+ Classics right now and where it fits in the new Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Is it as good a perk as EA Play? Do you think it helps justify the price increase, as tough to take as that’s proved to be?
