That New Digimon Game’s Turning Out to Be a Huge Hit

Update [Mon 6th Oct 2025, 10am]: Just a quick update on Digimon Story Time Stranger from the weekend: it’s a legitimate hit!

The game’s still doing incredibly well on the PS Store, remaining around eighth place on the US best-sellers list.

And on Steam, it actually got a big boost to its concurrent players, maxing out at 84k at peak time on Sunday.

It’s unlikely the game will go higher again, but clearly this is shaking out to be a big win for Bandai Namco. There’s a good chance we’ll get some early sales statistics soon.
