Mike Vrabel calls out Browns bland offense after dominant win

The Cleveland Browns are now 2-6 after a blowout loss at the hands of the New England Patriots. Cleveland led 7-3 early in the game before being outscored 29-6 in the remainder of the game.

After the game, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel took to the podium and took a jab at the Browns’ offense, saying they weren’t able to do anything besides gimmick plays.

“They hadn’t turned it over, and then when their gimmick plays ran out, I thought we played pretty good defense,” Vrabel said via Daniel Oyefusi.

The Browns did start off strong, with Dillon Gabriel throwing a touchdown to fellow rookie Harold Fannin. The Patriots took over the game, though, picking off Gabriel, forcing a safety, and allowing Cleveland to gain just 213 yards of offense. The Browns now go into their bye week before playing the New York Jets in Week 10.
