Here is what to know about the CFP title oddsboard:

The Defending Champs: No. 1 OSU (8-0) remained in the top spot on the oddsboard after a 38-14 win over Penn State in Week 10. It has now outscored its first eight opponents 293-55. Ohio State has one win that was within seven points — a 14-7 win over then-No. 1 Texas in Week 1. It has beat every other opponent on its schedule by at least 18 points, and has allowed over 10 points just twice. So who can stop the Buckeyes from going undefeated in the regular season? They have games left against Purdue, UCLA, Rutgers and Michigan.

Hoosier Hot Streak: Indiana, just like the Buckeyes, is undefeated (9-0), and just beat the brakes off of Maryland, winning 55-10. Through nine games, the Hoosiers are outscoring opponents 418-97, and in the last three weeks, they are averaging 49.7 points. In other words, the Hoosiers’ defense might not be as stout as Ohio State’s, but Ohio State’s offense hasn’t quite reached the level of Indiana’s. IU has three regular-season games left: at Penn State, against Wisconsin and at Purdue. The undefeated regular season is entirely in play.

Winners and Losers: There were three top-10 losses in Week 10, with No. 8 Georgia Tech falling at NC State (48-36), No. 9 Vanderbilt losing at No. 20 Texas (34-31) and No. 10 Miami going down at SMU (26-20). While it was the Yellow Jackets’ first loss of the year, it was the second loss for both Vanderbilt and Miami, meaning their title hopes — and CFP hopes in general — are in dire straits. Miami moved from +1700 last week to +7500 this week, while Vandy went from +3000 to +12500.

CFP Changes: There will be some changes heading into the next College Football Playoff when it comes to seeding, potentially making the path smoother for some of those premier programs. In late May, the CFP committee approved a proposal in which the four highest-ranked teams would earn the top four seeds and a first-round bye, removing the previous conference champion requirement. The top five ranked conference champions will still earn playoff spots. Last season, the top four seeds — Oregon, Georgia, Boise State and Arizona State — all received a bye and then lost in their quarterfinal matchups. Had the new format been in place, No. 1 Oregon, No. 2 Georgia, No. 3 Texas and No. 4 Penn State would have been the top four seeds and had byes.
