Super Group Revenue Grows as Betway Continues to Invest in Esports Sponsorships

Super Group reported revenue of $556.9 million this quarter, an increase of 26% year-on-year.

Betway drove the company’s growth as the sports betting platform expanded into new markets and continued to strengthen its esports partnerships.

Fueled by strong performances in the UK and Africa, Betway contributed $341 million to the company’s revenue. The UK market saw revenue growth of about 71%, with Africa up 36% in the quarter. In total, Africa and the Middle East accounted for 63% of Betway’s revenue.

In a press release, Neal Menashe, CEO of Super Group, commented: “We are incredibly pleased with our Q3 performance, which highlights the continued strength of our global platform and consistent execution across our core markets.”

Super Group’s online casino brand Spin also performed well, increasing revenue from $180 million last year to $216 million. The iGaming platform’s revenue largely came from North America, where it generated $124 million.

Launch of Super Coin Aims to Enhance Future Growth

Menashe added, “With continued momentum into Q4, and the highly anticipated launch of Super Coin, we are focused on driving long-term value for our shareholders and enhancing our global position.”

Super Coin is the company’s stablecoin, which is expected to launch late this year or early 2026. It is expected to be used as a payment method within its gaming ecosystems, particularly in the African market.

As a result of the strong performance, the company upgraded its full-year guidance to revenue of $2.17 billion–US$2.27 billion and adjusted EBITDA of US$555 million–US$565 million.

Alinda van Wyk, CFO of Super Group, stated: “This was another quarter of strong financial delivery. We generated an exceptional $152 million in Adjusted EBITDA, up 65% year-over-year and raised our full-year guidance above the targets we shared on Investor Day.”

Betway has a long history of sponsoring esports, starting with the Swedish Counter-Strike Global Offensive team Ninjas in Pyjamas, reportedly in a six-figure deal in 2016.

Betway’s history of esports sponsorship grew with deals with the Brazilian Counter-Strike team MiBR and the Dota 2 Team PSG.LGD. PSG and LGD no longer continue to operate in partnership, but LGD Gaming continues to compete without the PSG name.

Earlier this year, the company renewed its sponsorship with tournament organiser BLAST Premier for two more years.

It also entered a partnership with Brazilian esports organisation FURIA Esports in May 2025. However, revenue in Latin America was down this quarter, falling from $4 million last year to $2 million.

Going forward, the company looks set to focus on the African market for future growth. Van Wyk added, “Our disciplined investment in high-return markets, combined with operational efficiencies and improved marketing ROI, continues to translate into expanding margins.

“Our balance sheet remains robust with $462 million in cash, giving us both flexibility and confidence as we look ahead to 2026.”
