
Kai Trump: Donald Trump’s granddaughter reveals advice from Tiger Woods and US President ahead of LPGA debut
Kai Trump revealed she received advice from her grandfather, US President Donald Trump, and golf legend Tiger Woods ahead of her LPGA Tour debut.
Trump is set to play at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, live on Sky Sports ​​​​​​from 3pm on Thursday.
The 18-year-old received a sponsor exemption for the event in Florida, which typically has one of the strongest fields of the year outside the majors.

The youngster, who has committed to playing golf at the University of Miami in 2026, has over six million followers across social media and recently started an apparel and lifestyle brand aimed at empowering young women in sports.

President Trump ‘a little busy running the world’ to attendShe said of advice from 15-time major champion Woods: “He is the best golfer in the entire world. I would say that. And he’s an even better person. He told me to go out there, have fun, go with the flow.”
Of President Trump, she added: “My grandpa pretty much told me to go out there and have fun. Just don’t get nervous. To me he’s just a normal grandpa. He’s not coming this weekend. He’s running the world right now, so a little busy.”
Asked about the President’s golf game, Trump said: “He’s pretty good. I can’t say much but we have some tight matches. We play a lot. We have a great time out there. I’ll leave that up to you to decide [if I have ever beaten him].”
WNBA star Caitlin Clark will also be a part of The ANNIKA, competing in the pro-am for the second straight year.
Nelly Korda is the defending champion while Lydia Ko and Charley Hull are also expected to play.
