Two of the coolest things in life are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the critically acclaimed video game Hades. So what happens when you merge the two? You get Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, a fun Hades-like game that also happens to be on sale for Black Friday this year. TMNT: Splintered Fate’s Deluxe Edition is on sale for only $20 (was $40) at Amazon. The 50% discount is available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, and PS4, while the Xbox version is on sale for $25.
But before you pick up the Deluxe Edition deal, you’ll want to check out the Pipin’ Hot Collector’s Edition, which has received a Black Friday preorder deal that drops the price to only $80 (was $100) for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and Xbox. The Pipin’ Hot Collector’s Edition releases December 5, just in time for the gift-giving season.
TMNT: Splintered Fate – Deluxe Edition $20 (was $40)
The Deluxe Edition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate includes the game, a physical pack of 10 foil trading cards, the Casey Jones DLC that adds the infamous vigilante as a playable character (Goongalah!), new enemies, bosses, and access to the upcoming Junkyard Jam DLC pack.
A game that wears its Hades influence proudly on its sleeve, TMNT: Splintered Fate features all the hallmarks of a roguelike game. Across its levels, you’ll take on enemies, encounter familiar faces, and power up along the way for a final boss fight.
Death is a constant companion, but every time you restart a run, you do so with experience that helps you nail a perfect deathless adventure. Each Turtle has a unique arsenal of weapons and skills, and you can combine them to devastating effect in the game’s co-op mode.

As mentioned, the Pipin’ Hot Collector’s Edition is one of the rare game preorders with a Black Friday discount. To be fair, though, this has been delayed multiple times. It was slated for August, pushed to October, and pushed again to its current December 5 launch date.
We were already impressed by the list of collectibles included at the $100 MSRP, so the Pipin’ Hot Collector’s Edition is even more intriguing at $80. You get a wide array of cool extras, including TMNT-themed dice for tabletop RPGs, a pack of 10 foil trading cards, an art book and retro-style manual, a comic book from IDW Publishing–the team behind the long-running TMNT comic series–two posters, and more. All of the goodies are packaged in a pizza box with a slipcase, of course.

And while that description is pretty accurate, the sentiment doesn’t convey that a well-done take on a fantastic game can be a lot of fun. While the art and story don’t come near the lofty heights of Hades, it is nevertheless a blast to bash heads as one of the titular turtles, especially when you have friends fighting at your side,” Steve Watts wrote in GameSpot’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate review.
The Pipin’ Hot Collector’s Edition isn’t the only collectible TMNT product with a steep discount releasing in December. Arrow Video’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy: Limited Edition launches on 4K Blu-ray December 16. The restored collection of early ’90s live-action films is up for preorder for $59.30 (was $100) at Amazon. The box set comes with a collector’s booklet, trading cards, three double-sided posters, and more inserts. Plus, each film has new director’s audio commentaries and interviews with the cast and crew.
