Funny Toheeb is the artistic name of Toheeb Adedokun Akorede. The Nigerian comedian became popular for his celebrity impersonations, particularly for his recreations of celebrity outfits with cheap and accessible materials, and he is proud of his work. âPeople laugh and that is just our main focus, bringing people out of depression,â he said in an interview.
And although the photos might seem easy to do, Toheeb actually has to work hard to get the right results. âItâs not a dayâs job, some pictures we spend weeks [replicating them],â he explained. âSometimes we work at night,â he added.

Toheeb has big aspirations for his future. âI wasnât born with a silver spoon. I actually want to be the person that will change my familyâs story, that is why I keep working,â he admitted. ââJust keep doing and keep thinking outside of the boxâ, thatâs what my mom used to tell me. I tell her I will be a big celebrity one day, but she doesnât believe me.â
