I. Is A Sign of Affection on a break this week?

No, ‘A Sign of Affection’ is not on a break this week. Episode 8 is not delayed and will be released on the above-stated date.

2. Episode 8 Speculation

Itsuomi and Yuki are taking more steps in their relationship. After their first kiss, Itsuomi introduced her to his best friend. Shin and Itsuomi have been friends since school, and considering how Itsuomi wanted to introduce Yuki to Shin before anyone else, he really values Shin’s opinion.

Shin is surprised at the revelation, but we don’t know how he will react. On one hand, Itsuomi is Shin’s best friend, so his happiness should be prioritized. However, Shin is also friends with Emma and is aware of her feelings for Itsuomi, so it might be hard for him to support Itsuomi completely.

Yuki’s hearing might also become an issue, but that is a superficial estimate of who Yuki is. Shin would probably give getting to know Yuki a chance for Itsuomi’s sake. While Shin’s opinion would matter to Itsuomi, it is highly unlikely that it would affect his relationship with Yuki.

3. Recap of episode 7

Itsuomi texts Yuki updates about all his stops while Yuki is hunting for a part-time job. Rin also works a part-time job and asks Yuki about any success on her end. Yuki asks Madoka for help with her part-time job hunting, and she gives her multiple pointers.

Yuki appears for many interviews, but she doesn’t get through. Oushi texts Yuki about his sister’s return, and she goes to visit Mio. Both of them catch up with Oushi, acting as Mio’s interpreter.

Yuki is surprised Oushi is still studying sign language, and he reveals he wants to become a sign language interpreter. Yuki is amazed and praises him, making Oushi shy and wish she would praise him more.

Emma hasn’t gotten a reply from Itsuomi, unlike Yuki, who he constantly keeps updated. Itsuomi promises to make time for them when he returns, and Yuki wishes he’ll return as soon as possible because she misses him.

Itsuomi immediately asks Yuki out for lunch after returning, and she rushes to meet him. Yuki and Itsuomi see each other across the train line, and Itsuomi asks if he can hug Yuki, to which she agrees.
