The American Century Championship continued Saturday and Aaron Rodgers, Travis Kelce, Tony Romo and many other athletes and celebrities were among those hoping to position themselves for a strong finish on Sunday.

Rodgers finished the day with 22 points and is in a tie for 24th place with Michael Peña and Andrew Whitworth. Romo is tied for 44th alongside Jerome Bettis with eight points while Kelce is tied for 56th with one point.

Rodgers entered the day with 10 points, but quickly improved his score with birdies on the second, third and 16th holes. He double-bogeyed the opening hole and the final hole, but otherwise avoided trouble.

Kelce’s day didn’t start too well when his first tee shot went into the woods.

The nine-time Pro Bowler redeemed himself later with an excellent chip from thick rough, showcasing finesse in his short game.

The Taylor Swift references weren’t limited to the first hole, as Kelce showcased some of his dance moves on the 17th hole when the venue played some of her discography.

Romo has been among the best competitors in the tournament’s history, winning the event in 2018, 2019 and 2022. He is not going to get it done this year, however, and double bogeys are a big reason why.

He made four double-bogeys in the opening round and that trend continued during Saturday’s action. His birdie luck from the first round didn’t carry over though, so he only added two points to his score.

The third round of the tournament is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. Mardy Fish, Joe Pavelski, Adam Thielen and Ray Allen will enter the final round at the top of the leaderboard.
