
Abuakwa South MP Dr Kingsley Agyemang commends security agencies for swiftly rescuing a kidnapped woman
A young woman who recently went missing in the Abuakwa South Constituency of the Eastern region has been found and brought to safety, thanks to a prompt and well-coordinated rescue mission led by the Ghana Police Service in collaboration with National Security and other security bodies.
Providing an official update on the incident, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa South Constituency, Dr Kingsley Agyemang, expressed deep appreciation to everyone who played a role in the successful mission.
He applauded the unwavering commitment and professionalism of the security personnel, emphasising how their rapid intervention not only brought comfort to a grieving family but also helped restore public trust in the nation’s security systems. âTo the Ghana Police Service, National Security operatives, and all other collaborating security agencies, your professionalism, urgency, and coordinated efforts are commendable,â Dr Agyemang stated.

Dr Agyemang also acknowledged the community group âProudly Asiakwanâ for their crucial involvement, recognising their efforts in mobilising local support throughout the crisis.
While expressing relief over the girlâs return, he took the moment to remind residents, especially parents and guardians, to be extra cautious and vigilant. He called for stronger communal awareness and proactive measures to prevent similar occurrences.
