AFK Journey Patch 1.2.1

Patch 1.2.1 Major Updates

Adding a new Celestial hero: Dunlingr, the Eternal Voice, who will be released on September 20 at 00:00 UTC. You can acquire him through Stargaze Station and Guild Store.
The Waves of Intrigue season will officially launch on September 19 for servers that have been active for at least 40 days. To unlock the season, you must reach Level 240 with your Hands of Resonance and complete Ryeham Tales. Once these conditions are met, a quest will become available in Holistone, guiding you to the season region and starting you on an epic journey!
Adding the Peaks of Time on October 1. If you missed the Song of Strife season, you’ll be able to access it in this mode after completing The Last Leg quest, allowing you to collect plenty of map resources as you play through the season storyline. If you have participated in Song of Strife, your progress will carry over to Peaks of Time, so you can pick up right where you left off.
Adding the Heroic Gauntlet mode, where you can earn great rewards like Invite Letters and Velvet Vouchers. You can even earn Twilight Essence for overcoming tough challenges. In this mode, your heroes will be temporarily upgraded to Mythic tier, with their Hero Focus Skill at max level.
Adding a new Talent Trials mode to Season AFK Stages. Clearing stages in this mode will increase your Season AFK progress like in regular mode, but with the added benefit of using new Faction Talents in battles. Please note that your Instant AFK rewards will be reset when you enter the new season.
Updating seasonal progression features, including Season Resonance Level, Season Equipment, and Season Artifacts. In Waves of Intrigue, Season Resonance Level starts at 240 and Season Equipment Levels start at 241. Progression features from the Song of Strife season will no longer be available.
Adding 10 new Season Artifacts, each with a maximum level of 25. They will be released with the version updates throughout the season. You can acquire them through Story Quests, Reputation Quests, and Season Milestone Rewards. Upgrade materials will be available through Legend Trials.
Adding Season Faction Talents, which only takes effect in Season Legend Trial, Talent Trials of Season AFK Stages, Supreme Arena, and other seasonal modes and events. It does not take effect in Season Dream Realm.
Adding Season Store, where you can use Season Tokens to redeem Soul Sigils of heroes released during the Song of Strife season. The Soul Sigils of Alsa and Soren are currently available in Season Store. More will be introduced along with the version updates of the Waves of Intrigue season.
Adding 2 new Dream Realm Bosses: Crystal Beetle and Orson. A total of 8 Bosses will rotate daily. The daily district rankings rewards will offer Season Tokens instead of Dream Fragments. You can still use these tokens to redeem Dream Fragments in Season Store.
Changing the daily ranking rewards for the Supreme Arena from Arena Coins to Season Tokens. You can still use these tokens to redeem Arena Coins in Season Store.
Adding Season Swaps, a new feature that lets you swap two heroes released during the Waves of Intrigue season. This item allows you to swap hero tiers, as well as levels of Exclusive Equipment, Hero Focus, and Enhance Force between two heroes. Season Swaps do not expire and come in various types for different heroes.

Season A-Level Swap: Used to swap the progressions between two A-Level heroes released during the Waves of Intrigue season. Season S-Level Swap: Used to swap the progressions between two S-Level heroes (excluding Celestials or Hypogeans) released during the Waves of Intrigue season.

Adding the Velvet Store. You can use the Velvet Vouchers earned through Growth Trials and other events to redeem exquisite Cosmetics in this store.
Adding the Fishing Level (Waves) feature. As you fish on the season map, you’ll earn Skill Points to upgrade your Fishing Level. Higher Fishing Levels provide additional bonuses. We’re also optimizing the fishing experience and improving Fishing Spots for the new season.
Adding a Season Handbook feature. You can earn Season Milestone Points through Season Growth Trials to unlock amazing rewards.
Removing the Season Manual rewards from Guild Chests. Instead, Season Manuals will now be available as Daily Quest rewards. We’re also making minor adjustments to the distribution of Daily Quest rewards. The original Daily Quest rewards remain unchanged.

We’re optimizing Dura’s Trials for the new season. Here are the changes:

a. The highest floor will be raised to Floor 40, with new floors unlocking at specific dates throughout the season. b. Magic Charms will no longer be rewarded for clearing a floor, but you will still receive Magic Charms from the All Clear rewards. c. In the new season, you will be able to sweep a floor after clearing it. We’re increasing the number of Sweep attempts, but the amount of Magic Charms you can earn per Sweep will be reduced. d. You will only be able to retry a floor a limited number of times. e. The Buff Tiles from the Blessings in Dura’s Trials will not be influenced by your progress in Season Faction Talents.

Adjusting the stat boosts and special effects of Season Magic Charms. The adjustment will also introduce additional quality levels.
Adjusting the distribution of Season Dream Realm stage rewards except for Dream Fragments and Invite Letters.
Adjusting the Baseline Level in Season Dream Realm so it will increase daily.
Raising the highest floor of Season Legend Trial to Floor 150.
Removing all bundles containing Season Essence. In line with this adjustment, Season Secret Travelogue of Season Noble Path will no longer include Season Manual and Season Essence.
Adding a feature that allows you to permanently save your Favorite mails.
Rate Up Invite Letters can now be purchased in bulk via the Rate Up Recruitment interface. In line with this adjustment, we will remove Rate Up Invite Letters from Recruitment Store.
Adding a feature that lets you use emojis while traveling on the map, and optimizing the interface of Gestures.
Adding a new mini-map function that lets you directly access specific areas.
Repositioning the “View Profile” button so that it won’t affect your interaction with objects or NPCs on the map.
Reducing the Equipment price sold in the Season Forge.
Optimizing the animations of certain Bosses when entering Battle Preparation.
Optimizing the Auto-Route mode. After enabling this mode, you will automatically receive 2 stacks of Speed Fairy buffs. Auto-Route will also prioritize main roads or roads with Speed Fairy buffs when traveling. Please update the game via Google Play or App Store to apply this fix.
Optimizing the exploration mechanism and the exploration progress interface. Adding a feature that lets you clear the miasma of an area once you reach a specific exploration milestone.
Optimizing the icon design on the mini-map.
Optimizing the Cosmetics Preview feature.
Optimizing memory management to minimize crashing or lagging during extended play sessions. Please update the game via Google Play or App Store to apply this fix.

Combat Mechanics

Salazer – Lash of Bantus

Fixing the issue where Salazer’s Ultimate, Rain of Blades, hits the target one more time than stated in the description. The skill description has been corrected, and the actual effect remains unchanged.

Lily May – Twilight Tracker

Lily May’s Rainstorm Ballet skill, when activated, now properly benefits from the Enlightening Spell Artifact and allies’ skills like Lyca’s Empyrean Blessing. With this fix, Lily May’s Rainstorm Ballet will synergize better with her Rainfall Bliss skill.

Igor – The Mad Dagger

Fixing the issue where Igor’s ranged normal attack can sometimes miss its target because the attack trajectory is too short.

Thoran – The Fallen King

Fixing the issue where Thoran’s Soul Pact, his Exclusive Equipment Skill, does not activate between Thoran and the ally placed behind him during Battle Preparation if the ally’s position changes significantly at the start of a battle.

Granny Dahnie – Forest Guardian

Fixing the issue where Granny Dahnie’s Force of Nature does not properly benefit from the DMG Boost and DMG Reduction Rivalry Stats.

Phraesto – Abyssal Illusionist

Fixing the issue where Phraesto’s Vicious Sting does not properly benefit from the DMG Boost and DMG Reduction Rivalry Stats.

Lucius – The Lightbringer

Optimizing the short description of his Divine Bash skill. The actual effect remains unchanged.

Talene – Resurging Flame

Fixing the issue where Talene’s Ultimate isn’t cast immediately when her Energy is full during battles against Skyclops.

Primal Lord – Crystal Beetle

Fixing the issue where Crystal Beetle is still affected by the effects of an attack after dodging the attack with its Phantom Scales.

Primal Lord – Skyclops

Fixing the issue where the casting frequency of Skyclops’ Glaring Ray in Season Dream Realm does not match the skill description. No adjustments will be made for non-season Dream Realm battles in Starter Story.

In Arcane Labyrinth, the damage effects of certain crests are now calculated based on your Team ATK instead of the enemy’s max HP. The damage cap and multiplier remain unchanged from their original values.

Bug Fix

Fixing the issue of characters floating on the map in certain cases. Please update the game via Google Play or App Store to apply this fix.
