All Concord Maps and Worlds Explained

In this article, weā€™ll tell you everything we know about Concord maps and worlds, so youā€™ll be ready as soon as the game releases.

Since Concord is a game similar to Overwatch, you can expect to have several environments in which to face opponents. Although the initial proposal is not very large, in all likelihood, the developers will periodically update the various maps and game worlds, so that players can always have something new.

Concord Maps and Worlds
The first thing to know about this aspect of Concord is that the game is divided into different worlds, each with different maps. Each world has its own story and lore that players will be able to delve into during their adventures. But let’s see in detail what it is.

For now, there are four different worlds, each with its own map. Here are their respective names:

Leviathan (Water Hazard)
Akkar (Bone Mines)
Glance (Salt Palace)
Gloom (Robot Ruins)

Concord Worlds
First, let’s take a deeper look at the various worlds that exist in the Concord universe.

Leviathan
Beneath the surface of this tumultuous ocean world, the chaotic waves conceal more than just waterā€”they hide deadly sea creatures of monstrous proportions, lurking in the depths, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. These beasts, born of a hostile environment, have evolved into fearsome predators, their size and ferocity unmatched across the galaxy. The ocean is their domain, and they rule it with an iron grip, making the waters treacherous for any who dare venture too close.

Yet, despite the ever-present danger, this world sits at the heart of the intergalactic food supply chain, its resources so vital that entire civilizations depend on it. The bounty of this ocean is rich and abundant, a treasure trove of sustenance that sustains countless planets. But harvesting these riches comes at a steep price. The brave souls who dare to extract these resources must constantly be on guard, knowing that at any moment, the monstrous creatures could rise from the depths, turning the hunter into the hunted.

Akkar
Once a lush, tropical paradise teeming with vibrant life, this planet is now a shadow of its former self, ravaged by an extinction-level event that has transformed it into a barren wasteland. The once-thriving jungles and crystal-clear rivers are now desolate and dry, their beauty replaced by a haunting silence. The sky, once a brilliant canvas of blue, is now darkened by clouds of ash and dust, casting an eerie gloom over the land.

As far as the eye can see, the landscape is littered with the skeletal remains of the Vastadonsā€”massive, majestic creatures that once roamed these lands in great herds. Their bones, now bleached by the unforgiving sun, serve as a stark reminder of the planet’s lost grandeur. These colossal beasts, once the undisputed rulers of this world, have been reduced to nothing more than relics of a bygone era, their towering forms now crumbling monuments to a life that has all but vanished.

Glance
This twin-sun desert world, bathed in the relentless glare of its two fiery stars, endures a scorching, arid climate that has shaped every aspect of its harsh landscape. The searing heat beats down without mercy, turning the ground into cracked, sun-baked earth. The whipping winds, born from the planet’s extreme temperature fluctuations, howl across the barren plains, stirring up swirling dust storms that dance across the horizon like ghosts of the desert.

Despite the unforgiving conditions, this world has found a purpose that makes it indispensable across the galaxy. Its vast, arid expanses are dotted with sprawling salt evaporation fields, stretching out as far as the eye can see. These fields, shimmering under the twin suns, are a crucial part of the production of faster-than-light (FTL) starship fuel. The planet’s natural resources, combined with its harsh environment, make it the ideal location for extracting the vital elements needed to power the engines that propel starships across the stars.

Gloom
Located on the farthest fringes of the galaxy, this enigmatic moon is a place of wonder and mystery, known across the cosmos for its rare and highly sought-after starlight fruit. The fruit, which glows softly with an ethereal light, has long been prized not only for its unique taste but also for its rumored restorative properties. Legends say that a single bite can invigorate the weary, heal the sick, and even extend life, making it a treasure coveted by those who seek its power.

Yet, beyond its fame as the home of the starlight fruit, this moon harbors secrets that stretch back through the ages, whispered tales of its past that are as intriguing as they are unsettling. Ancient ruins dot the landscape, their origins lost to time. Some say these crumbling structures were once the heart of a great civilization, one that mysteriously vanished, leaving behind only echoes of its grandeur. Others speak of the ruins as the remnants of an even older species, beings who wielded powers beyond comprehension and who may have planted the first seeds of the starlight trees.

Concord Maps
Now that you have a general overview of all the worlds present in Concord, it’s time to spend a few words on the available maps.

Water Hazard (Leviathan)
On the storm-swept, ocean-covered world of Leviathan, a colossal Morack eelā€”armored and fearsomeā€”has been captured, and now the work of harvesting it begins on a vast, floating fishing platform. The scene is both chaotic and awe-inspiring, as crews scramble across the platform, preparing to extract every valuable resource from the massive creature. The eel’s enormous jaws, still menacing even in death, hang open at the central harvesting site, where the real action is about to unfold.

But harvesting the Morack isn’t the only challenge here. Rival crews have converged on the platform, each determined to claim the most valuable parts of the creature for themselves. As the storm rages around them, these crews will clash not just across the platform’s slick, rain-soaked decks, but also within the very jaws of the Morack itself, where the fight for dominance is at its most intense.

Bone Mines (Akkar)
On the lush, tropical planet of Akkar, the remains of a gigantic Vastadon have been uncovered, and the site has turned into a profitable mining operation run by the Guild. The ancient skeleton, now partially excavated, stretches across the jungle, its colossal bones providing a stark contrast to the vibrant greenery surrounding it. This once-majestic creature’s final resting place is now the center of intense activity, with miners working tirelessly to extract valuable resources hidden within the site.

But the mining operation isn’t just about digging up minerals. Rival factions are eager to claim the riches for themselves, and the site has become a battleground. As you navigate through the maze of excavated bones, gigantic eggs, and the winding mining caverns, you’ll find yourself engaged in a mix of close-quarters and mid-range combat. The dense jungle and tight spaces within the Vastadon’s ribcage make every encounter a tense, high-stakes fight, where danger lurks around every corner.

Salt Palace (Glance)
Perched high on a bluff on the planet Glance, the grand estate of the Salt Lord, known as Salt Palace, is a show of great wealth and luxury. The estate boasts beautiful courtyards and fancy terraces, all carefully designed with stunning details and surrounded by lush scenery.

But Salt Palace is more than just a sign of wealth. Itā€™s also a thrilling battleground. The estate’s complex layout, with its detailed courtyards and raised terraces, makes for an exciting and challenging fight.

Robot Ruins (Gloom)
Fight under the wreckage of a massive war robot that crashed into an ancient temple on the remote world of Gloom. The robot’s twisted metal and broken parts now cover the once-grand temple, creating a tangled mess of debris. As you make your way through this chaotic battlefield, you’ll navigate around the huge robot pieces and ancient ruins.

The area is filled with dark shadows and hidden dangers, making every step a challenge. This is a place where history and destruction collide, and you’ll need to stay alert as you battle through the wreckage and the threats that lurk in the darkness.
