Ambush Fall 2025 Ready-to-Wear

Early next month, Rizzoli will publish a book celebrating Ambushā€™s 10th anniversary. ā€œSometimes you forget the things that you worked on; we tend to be more future-focused, we feel like, ā€˜ok the past is in the past letā€™s move onā€™, but I was realizing that thereā€™s so many things we have done that people havenā€™t really connected to or they forget we had done them,ā€ Yoon Ahn explained. ā€œI wanted to use this collection to make it kind of a homecoming, bringing back our own archives and remixing them.ā€Ā

The lineup is classic Ambush. More grown-up than recent collections, but no less playful. There are tracksuits galore; in velour with a lace trim for a more ā€œfeminine feel,ā€ in tie-dye and color-blocked cotton, in washed technical fabrics, and in coated cotton. ā€œItā€™s about ease of movement and being active,ā€ she said. ā€œThese are all people that Iā€™ll see on the street.ā€ A flight jacket-turned-hoodie had an unexpectedly elegant energy thanks not only to its silhouette but the shine and coloration of the fabric. ā€œIt was washed and treated a few times to give it a really worn-in vibe,ā€ she said.Ā

Hardcore Ambush fans will recognize some of the pieces like jackets and shorts made from collaged football scarves and jersey, and a workwear shirt and jeans in a woven diamond-print denim, from the vast Ambush archive. ā€œReleasing the book made me feel like, ok, that was one chapter, and now from here weā€™re going to jump into a new space.ā€ Hereā€™s to the next decade.Ā
