Americans Abroad Weekend Preview: Robinson, Pulisic, and more

Fulham and West Ham United are one place apart in the English Premier League table and Saturday’s London Derby could provide the spark that both teams need.

Antonee Robinson should be fresh and ready to go when the Cottagers host the Hammers at Craven Cottage. The U.S. men’s national team left back was not chosen for international duty this month, given a needed break by interim head coach Mikey Varas. Robinson has been impactful through the early stages of Fulham’s season, registering two assists and helping them earn four points out of nine available.

Fulham did the double over West Ham last season and a first head-to-head win of the 2024-25 season would be welcomed ahead of a busy conclusion to September’s schedule.

In England, Brenden Aaronson and Luca Koleosho clash as Leeds United faces Burnley. Chris Richards and Crystal Palace host Leicester City.

In Germany, Lennard Maloney and Heidenheim faces Borussia Dortmund.

In Spain, Johnny Cardoso and Luca De La Torre resume La Liga action.

In Italy, Christian Pulisic, Yunus Musah and AC Milan take on Gianluca Busio and Venezia.

Elsewhere, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Celtic take on Hearts. Cade Cowell and Chivas face Alex Zendejas and Club America. Bryan Reynolds and Westerlo face Anderlecht. Jonathan Gomez and Erik Palmer-Brown could clash in Greek Super League action.
