Andrew Luck shows support for Chuck Pagano, Colts at Chuckstrong fundraiser

Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck attended the 12th annual Chuckstrong event Friday night, showing support for his former head coach Chuck Pagano.

The annual fundraiser, which helps raise money for cancer research, is Luck’s most notable appearance with ties to the Colts since his shocking and abrupt retirement just before the 2019 season.

Luck talked to the media a bit before the event, stating he wanted to show support for his former head coach, who he said “had a massive influence on my life in a positive way.”

Though Luck has made a few appearances in public since his shocking retirement, such as a surprise appearance on the Amazon Prime postgame show during a Thursday night game in 2023 season, they haven’t been tied to the Colts.

However, this marks a big step in toward getting Luck more involved with the franchise, especially after his positive comments toward being in the facility again.

“I get excited coming back to this building, seeing Colts stuff, seeing the horseshoe. It’s always fun coming back,” Luck told reporters.

Luck also told the media he hasn’t had the itch to return to playing football since he announced his retirement.

The Colts are fully moving forward with the development of Anthony Richardson, but it’s nice to see Luck showing up to the facility as many former players have.
