He remains the fourth-winningest coach in league history, behind only George Halas (324 wins), Bill Belichick (333 wins), and Don Shula (347 wins).
Halas was a co-founder of the NFL and creator of the Bears, leading the team to eight NFL championships.
He coached the team for 40 years and had just six losing seasons.

He won an NFL-record eight Super Bowls (six as a head coach with the Patriots, two as an assistant coach with the New York Giants), and ranks first among all NFL coaches in playoff wins with 31.
Shula is the winningest coach in NFL history.
He got his first head-coaching gig in 1963 with the Baltimore Colts, whom he led to the NFL championship in 1968.
From 1970 through 1995, Shula was at the helm in Miami, leading the Dolphins to a pair of Super Bowl victories (in Super Bowl VII and Super Bowl VIII).
He’s also the only coach in history to go undefeated, orchestrating a perfect season in Miami in 1972.

2024 is Reid’s 26th season as an NFL head coach. Before the season started, he owned a 258-144-1 regular season record with a 26-16 postseason record, giving him 284 total wins.
His Chiefs went 15-2 in the regular season, moving him to 299 career wins.
The No.1-seeded Chiefs secured a bye and so did not play on wild-card weekend.
But now, the victory over the Texans has moved Reid to 300 career wins (and counting).
He now has 27 career career playoff wins, just four behind Belichick for most all time.

Reid turned the Eagles into perennial contenders but never managed to win a Super Bowl with the teamCredit: GettyReid started his NFL coaching career with the Packers as assistant offensive line and tight ends coach from 1992 to 1996, working under head coach Mike Holmgren on a staff with the likes of Jon Gruden.
Reid was part of the Packers staff who won Super Bowl XXXI at the end of the 1996 season against New England.
He then became quarterbacks coach and an assistant head coach in 1997-98, a job that included close work with Hall of Famer Brett Favre and included a run to the Super Bowl in 1997.
However, Green Bay were beaten in Super Bowl XXXII by the Denver Broncos and, by 1999, Reid was in charge of the Eagles.
During his stint in Philly, Reid led the Eagles to nine playoff runs, six division titles, five NFC Championship Games (including four consecutive from 2001 to 2004), and an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX.
However, they were beaten by Belichick and Brady’s Patriots, meaning Reid ultimately was able to never win a Super Bow in Philadelphia.
He was fired after the 2012 season, but the Eagles’ loss was the Chiefs’ gain, and Reid was appointed Kansas City head coach in 2013.

Reid, who is the highest paid coach in the NFL, has led the Chiefs to eleven postseason appearances, nine consecutive division titles, seven consecutive AFC Championship Games, four Super Bowl appearances, and three Super Bowl titles.
In 2019, his squad beat the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV. Just three seasons later, he led his team to back-to-back Super Bowl victories in 2022 and 2023, marking the first time a club has won back-to-back Super Bowls in two decades.
Reid has revitalized the Chiefs since taking over in 2011, masterminding one of the NFL’s greatest modern dynasties behind the magic of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
