Animal Crossing-Esque Cosy Game Disney Dreamlight Valley Saddles Up with New PS5, PS4 Expansion

Disney Dreamlight Valley isn’t horsing around with its all-new expansion. Well, not in the figurative sense anyway.

Wishblossom Ranch – a new expansion due out in November, with a livestream blowout scheduled for 15th October – will add mounts to the Animal Crossing-esque cosy game.

As part of the DLC, you’ll be able to explore three new biomes alongside Snow White and Tinkerbell, where you’ll encounter horses you can groom and ride. Everyone loves horses, huh?

Here’s the official summary:

“In this new expansion, players will discover the beautiful landscapes of the Wishblossom Mountains where horses roamed free, living a life of freedom and delight. But the once-thriving Wishblossom Ranch has fallen into neglect, giving rise to a mysterious blight known as the Decay. With the Ranch now in ruins, players must team up with Snow White and Tinker Bell to find a way to revitalize the Ranch and find its lost equine residents.”

Maximus from the movie Tangled will feature as one of the horses, although we suspect other famous foals from the Disney universe will be included. More on that will likely be revealed during the aforementioned livestream.

Horses you do encounter will be able to learn new abilities and skills, and will help accelerate your daily activities, like gardening and mining.

Disney Dreamlight Valley has become one of the more popular live service titles on PS5 and PS4, with a steady stream of free and paid updates significantly expanding upon the overall experience.
