It provides a difference of just 4lbs for the pair on the scales, in an evenly matched contest.

Read More In BoxingIt was an incredible spectacle as fans bundled into the iconic landmark Trafalgar Square in London to watch the fighters the day before the big night.

There were swathes of fans cheering on Joshua who appears to be the crowds pick, which is no surprise given his stardom on British shores.

A booming rendition of Sweet Caroline got the fans on their feet as the fired up pair squared off.

It is a huge night of action with stakes extremely high as Joshua looks to join the sport’s greats by becoming a three-time heavyweight world champion.

Dubois was handed his belt after beating Filip Hrgovic and will be looking to hijack Joshua’s plan to fight the winner of Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch with Tyson Fury.

The pair can barely be separated by the boxing world, although Joshua is considered a favourite given his experience and recent form under Ben Davison.

Joshua said regarding the clash: “What a blessing to be back. To be able to perform and prove to myself that I have listened to the instructions from training camp.

Daniel Dubois’ ‘bedridden’ trainer Don Charles breaks silence and insists he will be in corner for Anthony Joshua fight this weekend

“I am tough, so is he. May the best man win. I wanted to bring the heavyweight division back to life in the UK, and it happened so well done.

“It wasn’t disrespectful [the exchange], he repeated that he ‘wanted to go’ and that was that, don’t you think Daniel?”

Dubois continued: “Everything has gone well, I’m ready for training camp, let’s go.

“It’s a resurrection story in my career, I’m on a roll right now and I want to create a name for myself and make history.

“I’ve always known I can compete, I’m just ready to go right now.
