London rap sensation AntsLive signs a global publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music.AntsLive, London rap sensation who went viral in 2023 with his hit, “Number One Candidate,” has signed a global publishing deal with Warner Music Group’s music publishing arm, Warner Chappell Music (WCM). The rapper has seen over 10 million streams and nominations for two 2024 MOBO Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Video.

“I’m grateful to be kicking off the year by joining the Warner Chappell roster,” said AntsLive (pictured second left). “Susie [Woodbridge] helped make my experience at the Vegas camp a turning point in signing the deal, and I’m so happy to have a female-heavy team with Shani [Gonzales] and Amber [Davis] on board as well. They all get my vision, so I know we’ll get the best out of each other as we create new projects together this year.”

“AntsLive is one of the hottest and most distinct rappers in the UK at the moment. His personality and drive are second to none. How many artists would strap themselves to a plane for a video shoot?!” added Susie Woodbridge (pictured center), A&R Manager at Warner Chappell Music UK. “I’m really grateful that he’s given us the chance to partner with him, and we can’t wait to get stuck in and help create the next chapter of his career.”

Prior to creating music, AntsLive focused on his love for soccer, something fans may spot references to in his music video for “Number One Candidate.” He shifted focus to creating music once his sports dreams didn’t pan out, releasing his first track, “Brown Liquor,” in 2020. Three weeks into 2024 saw him releasing his first track of the year with “Cutlery,” created during WCM’s Vegas songwriting camp last year. The name AntsLive comes from the artist’s friend, who remarked upon hearing a track of his played, “Ants, live through my speaker.”
