Ari Announces Departure From Social Media
On Friday (Oct. 11), Ari Lennox informed her fans that she plans to officially leave social media. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the āPressureā singer announced her plan to delete her accounts on December 18, marking her two-year sobriety anniversary.
āHey ā¤ļø Iām working on a plan to transition off of social media for good. I donāt believe Iāll ever mature and be happy as long as i have it. So my last day of socials will be December 18th, my 2 year sobriety anniversary. I will be deleting my FB, IG and TikTok permanently,ā Ari wrote.
Additionally, Ari shared how social media has affected her life and expressed that stepping away from digital platforms will be the best move for her mental health and overall well-being.
āI have a very toxic and codependent relationship with these apps. My happiness is worth more to me, than using these platforms to promote. I truly believe I can get creative with marketing elsewhere. Iām so exhausted with my addiction to the internet and gossip and attention and validation and yearning to be in control and over sharing. I just want to be free and complete,ā the message continues.

āI like waking up with no hangover or embarrassment. I like waking up with no night terrors and panic attacks from liquor. Iām so raw feeling everything in this world and my coping mechanisms are only healthier now. Itās nice to remember events as they are happening. Itās nice to be present,ā Ari stated.
