Arkhe System and all the Pneuma and Ousia Characters in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact features various characters, enemies, interactive puzzles, and mechanics. Each nation within the game has unique mechanics, focusing on the Seven’s powers or some other new source.Â
With the introduction of the Hydro nation, Fontaine, a new mechanic called the Arkhe System, was introduced in the game. It involves the two new powers, Pneuma and Ousia, which can be found in every Fontainian entity. So, before we bid farewell to the Hydro nation, let’s look at all the Pneuma and Ousia characters.Â
There are 13 Fontaine characters in Genshin Impact who follow the Arkhe System. Lyney, Charlotte, Traveler (Hydro), Freminet, Neuvillette, and Emilie have Pneuma powers. Lynette, Navia, Wriothesley, Sigewinne, Clorinde, and Chevreuse have Ousia powers. Furina, the Hydro Archon, is the only character who can use both powers simultaneously.Â
Pneuma and Ousia are forms of opposing energy in Fontaine that are separate from the seven elements present in Teyvat. Playable Fontaine characters can access Pneuma and Ousia through the Arkhe System.
Pneuma and Ousia can be used to solve puzzles throughout Fontaine and in combat against special Fontaine enemies.Â
