Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya says it is his target to score not less than five goals and also provide assist in every single game he plays in the upcoming football season.

The talented midfielder, who has already admitted he didn’t live up to expectations in the recently concluded football season is poised to make a meaningful impact next campaign.

He scored two goals and provided five assists in 25 Premier League games but Yahaya is determined to do more for the Ghanaian giants.

Speaking to the club’s media, the former King Faisal star promised to score at least five goals and also provide assist in every single game he plays for the club next campaign.

“I will work hard next season. I’m aiming to score not less than five goals in the upcoming season. I will also do everything possible to provide assist in every single game I play”

Asante Kotoko endured a difficult season, finishing sixth on the Ghana Premier League standings.

Meanwhile, the team will commence preparation for the maiden edition of the Democracy Cup slated for July 5, 2025.

The Porcupine Warriors will travel to face Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium next week.
