Aston Villa and West Ham target scores stunning solo goal which could ramp up transfer interest

Jonathan Rowe has done nothing to quell the interest in his services by netting a stunning goal on Friday night.

The Norwich City star took the clash with Hull City by the scruff the neck by opening the scoring in the 2-1 victory.

Picking up the ball in the centre circle, the 20-year-old surged forward into the Hull half, jinking his way to the edge of the penalty area.

While seeming to shift the ball onto his weaker foot, Rowe unleashed a pinpoint effort with the outside of his right boot that evaded the goalkeeper and found the bottom corner of the net.

That effort was Rowe’s 11th goal in the Championship this term and his 12th overall in what has been a remarkable breakthrough season at Carrow Road.

His efforts certainly haven’t gone unnoticed, with Aston Villa and West Ham among the Premier League sides to have clocked his outstanding displays.

Noel Gallagher uses Jack Grealish to send X-rated message to booing Aston Villa fans at concert

He said: “We made our point clear, I’d like to keep [my best players], for sure. I love working with them, I love supporting them to be the best they possibly can be.

“We will do this not only for the next weeks, for the next months and hopefully years as well. The aim is totally clear.

“I can understand why a few fans may be a little bit afraid, but this only shows that they are doing very well. Hopefully they can continue to do well, and we will support that.”
