B.C. Lions open upper bowl for West Semi-Final against Calgary Stampeders

The B.C. Lions have opened the upper bowl at BC Place Stadium for the upcoming West Semi-Final against the Calgary Stampeders.

The Lions last hosted a playoff game in 2023 when the Stampeders visited for the West Semi-Final, drawing a crowd of 30,149. The lower bowl at BC Place Stadium seats approximately 25,500, a club spokesperson has previously told 3DownNation.

B.C. averaged regular-season attendance of 27,124 this year, a 0.9 percent increase from 2024 that placed third in the CFL.

The Lions have also announced that bus transportation will be made available for fans taking the ferry from Victoria to Tsawwassen on game day. The bus ticket, which costs $50, will transport fans to the stadium, then back to Tsawwassen for departure in the evening. This deal does not include ferry or game tickets.

The B.C. Lions (11-7) will host the Calgary Stampeders (11-7) in the West Semi-Final at BC Place Stadium on Saturday, November 1 with kickoff slated for 5:30 p.m. EDT. The Stampeders won their final three games of the regular season, including a 20-10 victory over the Edmonton Elks, while the Lions knocked off the Saskatchewan Roughriders to finish second in the West Division standings.

The game will be broadcast on TSN and RDS in Canada and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on 770 CHQR in Calgary and 730 CKNW in Vancouver.
