Black Stars Celebrate The Prelude To Paris Olympics: Tyla, Snoop Dogg, LeBron James And More

Black celebrities flocked to the Fondation Louis Vuitton in France yesterday (July 25) ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, which begins tonight (July 26) in the city of lights.

LeBron James, Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Ian Thorpe and Tyrese Haliburton were among the athletes who made an appearance. Other attendees included Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee, Zendaya, Snoop Dogg, Tyla — who also performed — Jeremy Allen White, Queen Latifah and more.

Through music, art, literature, and more, Pharrell Williams curated the event featuring artists KAWS, JR, Daniel Arsham, Derek Fordjour, Honor Titus and Julia Chiang, who designed the multiple interactive installations including a variety of games for attendees to partake in.

For the entertainment, Grammy-winner Tyla performed hits including “Water” and “Jump” as Pharrell also premiered his new single “Triumphus Cosmos.”
