Bobbie Jean Carter’s daughter living with grandmother after tragic, mysterious death at age 41
Bobbie Jean Carter’s daughter, Bella, will live with her grandmother Jane Carter following her mother’s sudden death.
The 8-year-old’s care was thrust into uncertainty after the “House of Carter” alum died mysteriously Saturday at age 41.
However, Bella will now stay with her grandma full-time, People reported Tuesday.
The cause of death is not known at this time.
Bobbie Jean’s younger sister Angel Carter rushed to social media Sunday to pay her respects.
“To my older sister Bobbie. You had a great sense of humor and a lively spirit. Growing up, I was your baby, and you were my best friend,” Angel, 36, wrote on Instagram.
“Life wasn’t fair to you, that I know. Sometimes, it feels like you didn’t have a shot, no matter what.”

“I know why Leslie, Aaron, and now you ended up in the circumstances that you did,” she went on. “I share that pain we experienced during our childhood and I’m sorry you didn’t have an opportunity for a better life.”
“The generational dysfunction stops now,” Angel wrote, adding, “I love you BJ, you’re free now.”
Elsewhere, Jane released a statement about her daughter’s death Saturday.

“I am in shock from learning of the sudden death of my daughter Bobbie Jean, and I will need time to process the terrible reality of this happening for the third time,” she said, referring to death of her son Aaron Carter in November 2022 and daughter Leslie Carter in January 2012.
“When I am able to think clearly, I’ll release a fuller statement; but until then I would request to be left to grieve in private.
“[However] deeply a parent feels the loss of a child, the suffering of a young child at the loss of a parent must be much greater,” Jane continued.

“So, I would ask the sympathetic to say a prayer for my precious 8-year-old granddaughter, Bella, who previously lost her father and is now also left without her mother.”
Prior to her death, Bobbie Jean had struggled with substance abuse and had several run-ins with the law.
