Bodycam Footage Reveals A Police COVERUP Surrounding The Death Of Ronald Greene | TSR Investigates

The family of Ronald Greene is reportedly fighting for justice after alleging that the Louisiana State Police covered up the brutal beating that led to his death in 2019. The police allegedly told Greeneā€™s family he passed away in a car accident. However, bodycam footage of their encounter has since been released.

Now, The Shade Roomā€™s Justin Carter is delving further into the tragedy and the familyā€™s claims on ā€˜TSR Investigates.ā€™

More Details On The Bodycam Footage Of Ronald Greene
According to Carter, Greeneā€™s mother, Mona Hardin, has been fighting for the bodycam footage of the fateful night the Louisiana State Police encountered her son. In the footage, officers can be seen approaching Greeneā€™s car. They yell orders for him to exit the vehicle. However, the ordeal escalates as viewers can hear Greene screaming while being tased.

Additionally, the footage even captures officers repeatedly punching and kneeling on the 49-year-old. At one point, one of the officers can be heard telling a dispatcher that they choked and ā€œbeat the ever-living s**tā€ out of Greene.

ā€œAnd then all of a sudden, he just went limp,ā€ the officer can be heard saying.

According to Carter, Greeneā€™s body was left ā€œbadly bruised with markings all over his bodyā€ from the police attack. Meanwhile, Hardin explained that the officers shared conflicting reports about what allegedly happened to her son.

The 49-Year-Oldā€™s Family Fights For Justice
It reportedly took over a year for the state police to launch an investigation into Greeneā€™s death. Additionally, the police did not initially reveal to Greeneā€™s family that there was bodycam footage of the incident. In 2021, it reportedly surfaced via the Associated Press.

ā€œThe coverup is so heavy,ā€ Hardin told Carter.

In 2022, five officers reportedly involved in the incident were indicted on multiple charges, including negligent homicide. Despite this, Hardin says that ā€œone by one, those five indictmentsā€ were ā€œkicked to the curb.ā€

Scroll above to watch Carter share what happened to the charges against the five officers. Additionally, Carter shares a statement from the Union Parish District Attorney, John Belton, about the decision, while Hardin explains why she believes the justice system is racially biased.
