Boyle to resign from Gambling Commission Chairman position
Marcus Boyle has revealed his decision to step down as chairman of Gambling Commission after serving for over three years.
Boyle became chairman since September 2021, and led the Commission through significant industry changes including transferring the National Lottery license to Allwyn after Camelotâs 30-year hold. He has actively contributed to the implementation of the Gambling Act Review and white paper. Also, he played a vital role in designing the Commissionâs three-year strategy that was launched, and it emphasized strategic investments in essential areas.

Baroness Twycross, Minister for Gambling, also expressed his appreciation for Boyle, praising his leadership during what she described as a âsignificantâ three years for the Commission.
