Brianna Chickenfry reveals she and Zach Bryan were in a ‘traumatizing’ car crash: ‘Thank God we had our seatbelts on’
Brianna Chickenfry revealed that she and boyfriend Zach Bryan were recently involved in a traumatic car crash while on the road for his tour.
The social media star, 24, told her TikTok followers Tuesday that she was on the verge of a “mental breakdown” due to lack of sleep following the incident.
“Two nights ago Zach and I got into a traumatizing side-by-side car crash,” she explained.
Brianna Chickenfry revealed that she and Zach Bryan got into a car crash on Sunday night.
The influencer recounted the “traumatizing” experience on TikTok Tuesday.
Chickenfry — whose real name is Brianna LaPaglia — said the car “flipped a bunch of times” and “everything shattered.”
“Thank God we had our seatbelts on,” she said.
The Barstool Sports personality said “there was a lot of blood” and the pair initially thought their injuries could have been life-threatening.
“We were like saying goodbye to each other,” the “PlanBri Uncut” host emotionally shared.

Although Chickenfry didn’t specify their injuries, she said the “Something in the Orange” singer needed to get “stitched up” by first responders.
“We were like, ‘Oh my God, thank God he didn’t hit an artery.’ It was just a huge gash,” she continued. “We were okay. We are happy and alive.”
After getting medical treatment the pair decided to continue on their way to Little Rock, Ark., where Bryan, 28, was scheduled to play two shows.

However, when the couple got back on their bus around midnight, one of their cats escaped into the 100-acre woods behind them.
In an effort to rescue the cat, the Grammy winner reinjured himself.
“Zach tries to jump on her [and] all of his stitches burst again,” she recalled. “He is bleeding everywhere. So much blood.”
The influencer said the pair “didn’t have shoes on” and had to walk “over barbed wire” while searching for the pet, who was eventually found.

Bryan went on to perform a concert the following night while Chickenfry was scheduled for several podcast appearances — despite the pair only getting “two hours” of sleep.
However, when the exhausted duo returned to their bus, their other cat escaped — leading to yet another all-night search party.
“I’m just so tired,” Chickenfry said. “My whole body hurts and I keep finding more bruises and scrapes and I pulled glass out of my cheek last night.”

In a follow-up video, the podcaster encouraged her followers to always wear their seatbelts.
“If you take anything from me — anything from me that I’ve ever posted in my whole entire social media career in the past five years — is wear a seatbelt,” she said.
“If we didn’t have our seatbelts on we would be literally decapitated, [have] broken necks or dead,” she added.

Later that month, the “I Remember Everything” singer revealed he was single after splitting from girlfriend Deb Peifer.
The “BFFs” podcast host confirmed in July 2023 that she and Bryan were an item amid growing speculation about the pair’s relationship status.
