Britney Spears praises video her old flame and Michael Jackson accuser, Wade Robson, shared about ‘trauma’: ‘Touched my heart’

Britney Spears showed support for a video her ex-fling and longtime choreographer, Wade Robson, posted about trauma after years of him accusing Michael Jackson of abuse.

“It warms my heart to see an older man take his time to even speak on such a subject !!!” the pop superstar, 42, wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post Friday alongside a black-and-white video of Wade.

In the clip, which the dancer, 41, originally posted on his profile on May 10, he promoted his “From Trauma to Triumph” podcast and wrote in the caption that the episode featured an interview with Dr. Peter A. Levine, an expert in “dissociation, shame, self-compassion, and the role of community in healing.”

The doctor said in the video that it’s not necessary to recall all the details of one’s traumatic past in order to be able to heal from it, which really resonated with Spears.

In her repost, the “Toxic” singer wrote about some of the difficult experiences she endured as a result of her 13-year conservatorship, and added, “I don’t want to remember those things … but I see now I can’t face my past, how do I move forward if I don’t know where I’ve been ???”

Spears then went on to claim that she “f–king” hates alcohol — despite often being seen with a drink in her hand while on vacations — and denied using drugs. She also claimed she sees one therapist.

The “Oops! … I Did It Again” singer concluded her message by once again praising the “older man” in the video — although it is unclear whether she was speaking about Wade or Dr. Levine, who is also featured.

“I wanted to share this because it genuinely touched my heart to see this older man speak on something that’s incredibly sensitive to my heart !!!,” she wrote.

“There is a complete understanding of what he is saying and I think I’m gonna cry for the rest of my life now!!!”

Page Six has reached out to Wade’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Spears and the choreographer have a long and complex history.

They worked together on several of the Grammy winner’s music videos and world tours, and the “Womanizer” singer even cheated on ex Justin Timberlake with Wade.

“We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar. We danced and danced. I made out with him that night,” she wrote in her book, “The Woman in Me,” which was released last October.

The indiscretion caused the “Cry Me a River” singer, now 43, to confront Robson while Spears was hosting “Saturday Night Live” in 2002 and shortly after break up with her over text.

It does not appear that Robson and Spears maintained a friendship. In recent years, the choreographer has spoken out about the alleged abuse he experienced at the hands of Jackson as a child.

Robson and actor James Safechuck shared what they allegedly endured on HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary in 2019, including the former’s claims that the “Smooth Criminal” singer molested and raped him from the ages of 7 to 14.

Robson met Michael Jackson when he was just a child.

Robson has accused Jackson of molesting him from ages 7 to 14.

Both men have also filed several lawsuits, with one being dismissed in 2017. It was then reopened under a California law that encourages survivors and witnesses of sexual assault to testify in court but was tossed out again in 2021.

The judge wrote in his decision at the time that there was “no evidence supporting plaintiff’s contention.”

In August 2023, however, the California Court of Appeal ruled that Robson and Safechuck, 46, were able to go to trial over their abuse allegations.

Spears backing her former flame has been received with mixed reviews online.

Spears has raised some eyebrows with her post about Robson. Britney Spears / Instagram

One person wrote via X, “The way that Michael Jackson did nothing but everything good for everyone, only to be rewarded with lies and betrayal, is always mind boggling. Shame on everyone whom Michael helped in their own lives and careers. Including that btch [sic] Britney.”

However, another who disagreed chimed in, “Britney never said Michael Jackson wasn’t innocent you clowns.”

When Jackson was alive, Spears was a big supporter and fan of the King of Pop, and even presented him with an award at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.
