Brittany Mahomes Just Posted the Sweetest Pregnancy Announcement for Baby Number Three

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are expecting baby number three!

The 28-year-old quarterback and his high school sweetheart announced their big news on Instagram with a sweet family video featuring their three-year-old daughter, Sterling Sky, as well as their 18-month-old son, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. In the video set to Bruno Mars’ “Count on You,” the family of four danced around in matching white outfits as Sterling proudly held onto ultrasound photos of their incoming fifth member.

“Round three, here we come 🤍,” Brittany captioned the video on July 11, quickly receiving supportive messages from friends and followers alike. “Awhhh congrats!!! 🥹,” wrote WNBA star rookie Caitlin Clark, who we hear is an “elite baby sitter.” Just something for the Mahomes family to consider!

If not Clark, Brittany Mahomes can probably count on some visits from close friend Taylor Swift, who is known to sending sweet gifts to her friends’ babies when she’s not using their names in her songs. In fact, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes made it back to the States from a brief trip to Europe, where they made sure to check out an Eras Tour concert in Amsterdam with the quarterback’s teammate Travis Kelce.

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes met in middle school and began dating when they were both 16 years old. “She was the grade above me. I was kind of the best friend, in the friend zone forever,” Patrick revealed in the 2023 Netflix docuseries Quarterback. The pair managed to get together in his sophomore year of high school.

They both went off to pursue sports careers, with Patrick joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017 and Brittany playing a season of professional soccer in Iceland around the same time (she is now the owner of the KC Current). Eventually, the couple got hitched in Hawaii in March 2021—a little over a year after welcoming their first child.

The evening prior to their latest pregnancy announcement, Patrick Mahomes was awarded best male athlete at the ESPY Awards for the second year in a row. Though he did not attend the Los Angeles ceremony on July 11, the quarterback was also awarded best NFL player at the prestigious event. Clearly, the Mahomes family has a lot to celebrate.
