Broadcaster forced to apologise twice as Super Bowl guest repeats Nick Sirianni’s bad language on live coverage

Sky Sports was forced to apologize twice over swearing on its live Super Bowl broadcast.

The Philadelphia Eagles were in a jubilant mood after dethroning the Kansas City Chiefs with an emphatic 40-22 victory.

“Let’s run this s*** back, Kellen,” said Sirianni.

Host Neil Reynolds apologized in the British broadcaster’s studio.

“Sky Sports apologising for bad language on TV at 3.30am,” wrote one fan who had stayed up late local time.

MORE ON NFL”It’s 3:30am, why is the Sky Sports presenter apologising for bad language???” asked another.

Guest Ryan Fitzpatrick obviously agreed with the viewers.

He asked: “What for saying ass?”

Hilariously, the former quarterback’s response forced another on-air apology.

Sirianni is a polarizing figure who many are not fans of but his humble victory speech should win him supporters.

“God’s blessed us very much,” he began. “He gave us all the talents to be able get here, so first and foremost thanks to him.

Fitzpatrick forced a second apology with his cheeky asideCredit: Getty”This is the ultimate team game. You can’t be great without the greatness of others.

“Great performance by everybody. Offense, defense, special teams, [Eagles GM] Howie [Roseman] getting us the guys, our coaching staff, these great players.

“We didn’t really ever care about what anyone thought about how we won, or their opinions.

“All we want to do is win. That’s why we listen to my prerogative a little bit when after some wins. But, thank you God, thank you Jesus.

“These guys did not want to let each other down. Yesterday in the meeting, they talked about not wanting this to be over, that’s special.

“And they said the only way it’s not over is if we have a parade and a ring ceremony later.

“So I guess this 2024 Eagle team’s not done yet we got a couple more things to celebrate. I love these guys, again, it keeps coming back to, ‘You cannot be great without the greatness of others.’

“This is the best team sport there is, you need the efforts of everybody and it took everybody. So happy.”

Sirianni then shared a touching moment with his wife, Brett Ashley Cantwell, and sons who came running over.

He hugged his oldest son, Jacob, and buried his face into his kid’s shoulder for a few seconds.

Picking up youngest kid, Miles, he said ‘Here come the happy tears’ and they spelled out ‘E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES’ together.
