Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks seemed to enjoy themselves Wednesday.

After leading his team to a 126-116 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Milwaukee’s first game since firing head coach Adrian Griffin, Antetokounmpo took to social media and posted a picture with the caption “count your blessings.”

The Bucks also turned heads with some pregame dancing before the game began:

Milwaukee is now 31-13 on the season, which is the second-best record in the Eastern Conference. That record is exactly why it was so stunning to see it move on from Griffin like it did, but there seemed to be a level of joy on the floor during Wednesday’s win.

Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated also reported “there have been steady rumblings for weeks in NBA circles that several Bucks veterans, including Giannis, had lost faith in Griffin. What appeared to be a smart hire last spring just never worked out.”

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the team’s next head coach will be veteran Doc Rivers.

Yet before Rivers arrived, interim coach Joe Prunty guided the efforts against Cleveland.

Antetokounmpo was unstoppable with 35 points, 18 rebounds and 10 assists, while Damian Lillard added 28 points.

That type of performance would have anyone counting their blessings.
