ESPN, Disney Advertising and NFL legend Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions have teamed up to produce a new docuseries starring Caitlin Clark and other top women’s basketball players entitled Full Court Press.
The series, which begins airing Saturday and Sunday on ABC and ESPN+, following Clark, Kiki Rice and Kamilla Cardoso during the 2023-24 women’s college basketball season.
This past season, Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes, Rice’s UCLA Bruins and Cardoso’s South Carolina Gamecocks were all top contenders in the NCAA tournament, and Full Court Press focuses primarily on their pursuit of a national championship.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Manning compared Full Court Press to his successful Quarterback docuseries on Netflix and noted that he wanted to do something similar with women’s basketball:
Pat McAfee @PatMcAfeeShow”Full Court Press starts tomorrow & it’s starring Caitlin Clark, Kamilla Cardoso & Kiki Rice..
We did Quarterback & we wanted to do something like that in another sport..
I think people are gonna enjoy it & it’s been a lot of fun to be a part of” ~ Peyton Manning#PMSLive pic.twitter.com/qPGL04y8Fy
Clark and Cardoso met in the national championship game last season with Cardoso’s Gamecocks winning to complete an undefeated season.
Meanwhile, Rice’s Bruins were a No. 2 seed, but they experienced the agony of an upset to No. 3 LSU in the Sweet 16.
Although Rice is returning to UCLA for the 2024-25 season, Full Court Press featured the end of the collegiate careers of both Clark and Cardoso.

Shortly after the tournament, the Indiana Fever made Clark the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, and the Chicago Sky took Cardoso third overall.
In addition to highlighting Clark, Rice and Cardoso during the women’s college basketball season and documenting Clark and Cardoso preparing for the WNBA draft, Full Court Press aims to spotlight women’s sports as a whole and to inspire young girls to chase their dreams in basketball through the “Inner Baller” ad campaign.
Along with airing on ABC and ESPN+, all four episodes of Full Court Press will be available on Hulu from May 14 through June 12 as well.
