Calvin Austin injury update: Latest news on Steelers WR’s status in Week 13 game

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals are locked into an offensive battle in their Week 13 game, and wide receiver Calvin Austin has played a big role in that.

Austin had a pair of catches for 29 yards in the first half of the game, including a 23-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter on a pass from quarterback Russell Wilson. However, Austin apparently got banged-up on his second catch of the game in which he was brought down hard by a Bengals defender.

As the second half began, Austin was not on the field for Pittsburgh and we’ve now received an update as to why that is the case. Here is the latest on the Steelers wide receiver.
