Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes Sat Together at the Copa America Final

Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, whose relationship came to an end in 2021 but made out at Coachella 2023, were spotted sitting next to each other at the Copa America, where Argentina defeated Colombia 1–0.

Both Mendes and Cabello posted on social media about attending the match, though they didn’t make any reference to running into one another. Mendes and his boys took a pic outside the stadium, while Cabello recorded a video from her seat.

However, a fan caught them chatting intimately during the game, and while there’s no PDA…it’s a big stadium. Surely, you could avoid your ex if you wanted to.

Back in December, it looked like Camila Cabello and Drake were getting flirty, whatever happened to that? It made sense.

In 2022, Mendes opened up about the hard adjustment to single life. He said in an Instagram video, “Like, who do I call when I’m, like, in a panic attack? I think that’s the reality that kind of hit me, it’s like, ‘Oh, I’m on my own now.’ Now I feel like finally, I’m actually on my own, and I hate that. That’s my reality, you know?”

So maybe he just wanted someone to watch the game with! After all, in their breakup statement, the pair wrote, “Our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever…. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.”
