Celebrities Honor the Homes Lost in the L.A. Fires

The Los Angeles wildfires have destroyed countless homes since they began on Tuesday, January 7. Since then, 200,000 residents have evacuated their homes in L.A. County, with over 17,000 acres burned in the Palisades fire and 13,690 acres in the Eaton fire in the Pasadena area. Jeff Bridges, Bella Hadid, Anthony Hopkins, and Paris Hilton are all among those who have all lost their homes in the Palisades fire. Below, the celebrities who have lost their homes among the 10,000 buildings destroyed in the fires.
Actor Jeff Bridgesâs Malibu family home burned down, CBS News confirmed on January 10.
Model Bella Hadid shared a photo of her childhood home, pointing out the room she grew up in engulfed in flames.
This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia told CBS News his home had perished on January 10. âYou start thinking about all the memories in different parts of the house and what not,â he said. âAnd then you see your neighborsâ houses and everything kind of around, and your heart just breaks.â
Actor Anthony Hopkinsâs home burned down, People confirmed on January 10. The same day, Hopkins posted a message of support for those impacted. âAs we struggle to heal from the devastation of these fires, itâs important we remember that the only thing we take with us is the love we give,â he wrote.
Cobie Smullet and Taran Killamâs home in Pacific Palisades burned down, People confirmed via photos.
Keleigh Teller, married to actor Miles Teller, shared a photo of their home on January 9, confirming that it had burned down. âTo everyone reaching out I canât thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, Iâll never forget them,â she wrote. âCommunity has come out stronger than I could imagine, pacific palisades I love you beyond measure you are a little slice of heaven, we will come back stronger than ever.â
John Goodmanâs home was destroyed in the fires, People reported on January 9.
The current honorary mayor of Pacific Palisades, Eugene Levy, lost his home, People confirmed.
Actress Anna Farrisâs representatives told People that her house burned down, though her family is safe. â
âPraying for everyone this morning,â she wrote on Instagram on January 9. âThose who lost their home. those who lost their lifeâs work, those who lost their life.â
Singer Empress Of posted on Instagram Stories on January 9 that she lost her home in the Eaton fire in Pasadena, writing: âMy family home is gone. Iâm devastated. Thankful for our safety.â
Pratt shared a photo of their home in ashes on January 9. âThe one positive sign i saw as our house burned down was ours sons bed burned in the shape of a heart,â he wrote.
While most of singer and actress Mandy Mooreâs house is still standing, she shared a photo of the remains of her garage and studio. âWe lost Taylor and griffinâs studio with every instrument and piece of equipment theyâve ever owned,â she said. âWe lost our garage and back house. Everyone we know lost everything. Every house on our street is gone.â
Adam Brody and Leighton Meesterâs house burned down, TMZ confirmed on January 8, along with footage of the fires.
âThis loss is immeasurable. Itâs the spot where we got married 3 years ago,â she wrote on January 9. âI grieve along with all of those suffering during this apocalyptic event.â
âSadly we did lose our home but we are grateful to have survived this truly devastating fire,â the Princess Bride actor wrote. âOur hearts go out to all the families impacted by this tragic event and we also wish to extend our gratitude to all the firefighters, first responders and law enforcement who worked so tirelessly through the night and are still at it.â
Cameron Mathison of All My Children and General Hospital posted a video of âwhatâs left of our beautiful home.â âOur home where our kids were raised and where they wanted to raise their own someday,â he continued.
âSitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience,â Hilton wrote. âThis home was where we built so many precious memories.â
Tina Knowles, best known as BeyoncĂ©âs mother, lost her Malibu bungalow. âI am praying diligently for our beautiful City of Los Angeles !! We are resilient though and we will recover!â she said on January 9. ââThis too shall pass.ââ
âIâve had this house for almost 30 years,â the songwriter shared. âIt looks like it was lost in the fire last nite,â she wrote.
Actress Kate Beckinsaleâs home burned down on January 8. âMy daughter and I lived there for most of her childhood and most of her childhood is gone,â she wrote. âHer primary school, every shop or restaurant we used to go to with my parents and Michaelâs parents – and devastatingly, most of her friends homes.â
âYesterday morning I had a beautiful Spanish cottage that gave me endless joy, where I met my husband and raised my son, the only house Iâve ever owned, with fruit trees I grew, with a garden of native plants,â Denise Crosby (Star Trek: Next Generation) said on X, along side a photo of her home.
âJanice and I lived in our home since 1979,â he wrote in a statement to AP News. âWe raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that canât be taken away. We are heartbroken of course but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.â
