Celebrity Poker Tour to Feature Hawk Tuah Girl in Its Next Tournament
The Celebrity Poker Tour unveiled a new event featuring a range of stars. Amid other celebrities, the poker organization has also invited Haliey Welch, the woman behind the viral Hawk Tuah meme.
Welch Will Star in the Celebrity Poker Tour
The fourth iteration of the Celebrity Poker Tour will be shown on the PokerGO subscription service, allowing fans to watch the action live. The tournament will also be streamed live on the official Celebrity Poker Tour YouTube channel, allowing a wider audience to enjoy the show.
In addition to the so-called Hawk Tuah Girl, the Celebrity Poker Tour will welcome the likes of Bryce Hall (last yearâs winner), Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, Kendrick Perkins, and Mario Chalmers. Other influential personalities will also be present.
As for Welch, some people were amused to see her name among the star-studded lineup. Others, however, rolled their eyes at the inclusion.
Barry Carter, the co-writer of several popular poker books, was very critical, saying that Welchâs fame seemed to be running out.
You know the 15 minutes is almost up when they come to poker, where celebrities go to die.

Who Is the Hawk Tuah Girl?
Welch became famous thanks to the Hawk Tuah meme which she accidentally coined during a vox pop interview. When asked how men can be best pleased in bed, she made a vulgar, yet somewhat comical, reference to oral love, which quickly went viral.
The Hawk Tuah joke was quickly adapted to a variety of joke formats, reaching countless people within a few days. Since then, Welch has become something of a micro-celebrity. She co-starred at Zach Bryanâs concert in Nashville, Tennessee and later joined Shaquille OâNeal during his DJ set in the same city.
The Hawk Tuah meme, meanwhile, has been referenced not only by everyday users but by celebrities and sports announcers as well. She also threw out the first pitch at a New York Mets game. Â
It is unknown if Welch has any prior experience with poker. However, a month ago, she filed a betting trademark for âBet On That Thang,â showing that she clearly has some interest in the sector.
