Cheryl Hines Posts Video of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Showering to Promote Beauty Products
Cheryl Hines took a somewhat unorthodox approach to promoting her beauty products on Black Friday.
Beauty line Hines + Young posted a video on its Instagram Story on Friday of Hines in her bathroom with two of her beauty products as her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., showered in the background. The actress then reposted the video to her account.
āNo. You canāt take a shower. Iām doing a video,ā she said. āNo, no. Iām doingā¦ youāve got to give me a second. Iām doing a video from Hines + Young. Honey. 60 percent off for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Iāve got to turn this off before he gets out.ā
Hines launched the beauty company with her daughter in 2023. The idea for the line came from the Curb Your Enthusiasm starās desire to start an eco-friendly brand of products because the beauty industry is one of the highest contributors to plastic pollution in the world, according to the companyās website.
āWith this in mind, my daughter Cat and I have launched Hines+Young to explore new ways to feel good without contributing to the problem of plastics,ā Hines wrote on the siteās āAbout Usā section.
The video comes two months after it was revealed that former New York Magazine correspondent Olivia Nuzzi had engaged in a romantic relationship with Kennedy while covering his third-party presidential campaign for the publication. The relationship reportedly began after she wrote a profile of him that was published in November 2023. In September of this year, Nuzzi was put on leave from the magazine and the following month, they āparted ways.ā
Hines and Kennedy have been married since 2014. While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter for a January cover story, Hines reflected on the start of her relationship with her second husband.
āI liked that when we got together, we were from two different worlds,ā she said. āI liked that he wasnāt in the entertainment business. I liked that he was doing environmental law. And the Kennedy aspect? That didnāt seem to matter that much to me because he wasnāt in politics, and his family was very warm and welcoming.ā
Since then, the lawyer launched a presidential campaign, only to end it in August and support Donald Trump in his third bid for commander in chief. Trump won the election and, in turn for Kennedyās support, chose him as his pick for the next secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.
