The bitter foes clashed ten years ago, with Saunders getting the winCredit: GettyEubank Jr and Saunders have equally been bitter rivals, and a second meeting has always been on the cards.
Saunders got the better of their opening clash in 2014, edging a decision on the judges’ scorecards.
But despite settling the scores, the British stars have been at each others throats ever since.
Saunders is currently out of action but is plotting a comeback, and has suggested talks have already taken place.
He told talkSPORT Fight Night: “I’ll be honest I was in heavy talks with Eubank’s manager a few weeks ago. Heavy talks.
“I’ve actually got a lawyer at the moment just going through a few bits. But I obviously need to get myself motivated to get a comeback fight and then build in to that big night.
“Obviously it’s also for the fans to see because I believe if you take out the heavyweights and the domestic British level, it don’t get much bigger than myself and Eubank.
“It’s just how it is. We don’t really get on. And I think the fans will enjoy the build-up and enjoy the fight.”
Hamzah Sheeraz

Sheeraz has made a pursuit of Eubank Jr in recent monthsCredit: GettySheeraz is perhaps the wildcard option of the three given his remarkable rise at 160lbs.
The British star is one of the world’s most promising young talents, and will be at world level in the coming months.
Eubank Jr has reportedly rejected an offer for the fight already, with bigger names likely to be the priority.
But Sheeraz expects he will be able to land the clash soon.
“I think it will and if you ask me this without His Excellency’s backing I’d say no chance, no chance but he’s a man who makes it happen,” Sheeraz said.
“I feel like he’s [Alalshikh] getting a liking for this fight. The public are demanding it.
“Every time they do an interview with Chris my name’s mentioned and he don’t know where to look.

“You got to accept the fight that way then. If he doesn’t then it’s dead in the water after that. I think he’s playing his cards from a business point of view.”
