The Minnesota Timberwolves will be well-represented at the 2024 NBA All-Star Game.
The NBA announced Sunday that Minnesota head coach Chris Finch and the Timberwolves staff would coach the Western Conference team in the game.

He joins Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards as the Timberwolves’ representatives at the game. This is his first time being named the All-Star Game head coach and is the first Timberwolves coach to serve as the head coach since Flip Saunders in 2004.
The Timberwolves are 35-15 and have clinched the best record in the Western Conference through Feb 4, the cut-off date.
Prior to this season, Minnesota had made two consecutive playoff trips but had failed to advance out of the first round. The franchise has not won a postseason series since 2004 and has not advanced past the conference finals in franchise history.
The 2023-24 season could be the one that changes that. Minnesota looks like a true contender in the West and has a budding star in Edwards. With Towns and Rudy Gobert also in the fold, the future appears bright.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Game is scheduled for Feb. 18 and will be played in Indianapolis, Indiana.
