Christian Richard files for divorce from Christine Quinn after his domestic violence arrest
Christian Richard is officially pulling the plug on his marriage to Christine Quinn.
Richard filed for divorce from the “Selling Sunset” star just over two weeks after he was arrested for domestic violence in their home.
According to the docs obtained by Page Six Friday, Richard cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and is seeking sole legal and physical custody of their son.
The tech entrepreneur also asked the court to terminate his estranged wife’s ability to seek spousal support. He is not requesting alimony from her.

It’s unclear if the pair had a pre-nuptial agreement.
News of their split does not come as a shock as Quinn stepped out without her engagement ring last week following a very tumultuous March.
On March 19, Richard was taken away in handcuffs from the home he shares with Quinn, 35, and their 2-year-old son, Christian Jr., after he allegedly hit the toddler with a glass bottle.
“The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim [Quinn], missed the victim but hit the victim’s child, causing injury,” a public information officer for the Los Angeles Police Department told Page Six on March 20.

Richard was booked for assault with a deadly weapon and was seen in photos obtained by Page Six being led into a cop car while barefoot and wearing a white bathrobe.
Just 33 hours after Richard’s initial arrest, he was detained by cops for a second time after being released from custody.

Per his inmate record, the tech entrepreneur was arrested on a misdemeanor charge for returning to his shared family home — despite Quinn having a restraining order in place.
Richard was released on March 21 and has a court date set for April 11.
A few days later, Richard filed a restraining order against Quinn — which was denied — and also described the alleged events that led up to his arrest.
Richard denied throwing anything at his estranged wife, and insisted that the pair got into an argument about her untrained dogs and he threw a full trash bag “to the side of the room, against the wall.”

“Mr. Dumontet did not throw the bag towards Ms. Quinn, or their son. Additionally, there was no glass in the bag, as there was no broken glass in the room or anywhere in the house,” the docs read.
“Ms. Quinn then walked out of the room, and, within minutes, LAPD police officers stormed the bedroom with guns drawn, ordering Mr. Dumontet out of the house without any time to gather any personal belongings, and while still in his bathrobe,” he alleged.
