The Newcastle team v Yokohama F Marinos has been confirmed.

A 7pm local time kick-off, 11am in terms of UK time.

United set for their third (public) pre-season friendly.

It ended Newcastle 3 SpVgg Unterhaching 1 two weeks ago in Germany, in a behind closed doors kickabout at the Adidas HQ training facility.

Eddie Howe’s players then winning 2-0 at Hull last Saturday in front of 4,500+ travelling NUFC fans.

It was then a flight to Japan and the first of two games on Wednesday, that a 4-1 Newcastle victory over Urawa Red Diamonds.

Great to see Schar and Bruno getting their first pre-season action, plus Lloyd Kelly getting his first ever minutes for NUFC.

Vlachodimos also starts for the first time in pre-season, although he has came off the bench in previous friendlies.

Miguel Almiron follows up his sub appearance on Wednesday with a first start of pre-season.
